This summer, a 20-year-old American Alabama student, Walter Carr, landed a loader job at Bellhops, which handles transportation of things in motion. Last weekend it was the first time to replace. From home to work was 20 miles (more than 30 kilometers), but something went wrong, writes medialeaks.ru in reference to USA Today.

On the Eve of the incident, an old Nissan Altima, on which Walter drove, broke down. Neither friends nor girlfriend could help, but Walter decided to get to work by all means. Around midnight he left the house and went to work on foot. According to his calculations, he had to go to the house where shippers are needed, at the latest at eight o'clock in the morning, having breakfast.
At four o'clock in the morning, Walter was arrested by a Pelham police patrol. Walter explained where he was going. The police did not immediately believe him, but when they believed, they decided to help.
First they threw it at the nearest burger on the road and treated it at lunchtime. Unfortunately, they had to go further. From the hamburger in Birmingham, where the guy was heading, there were still a few miles to go. Walter left, but a few minutes later he was caught by another police car. A Pelham patrol transmitted the guy's story to colleagues from Birmingham, and they also rushed to the rescue.
After drinking coffee, Walter Carr went to work. Soon everything was loaded, transported to a new place and arranged in a new house. Carr went after the change of the house, and all would have finished, if not for the post of mistress of the house on Facebook.
The story she told went viral and reached the general manager of Bellhops, Luc Marklin. The next day, he came to the local office of the firm and prepared for Walter a surprise. The director met the young man personally, as if, accidentally, he had turned out to be a policeman and several television cameras. The student, who understood nothing, greeted the boss, thanked him and gave his car.
– I drove it here. You can leave it right now, right here today. I think it will be much more useful for you than for me. I do not go there myself.
The car was almost a new Ford Escape.

In addition, the director of the company launched a fundraiser on the GoFundMe website to help Walter equip his house and repair an old car. The goal of the collection was 2 thousand dollars, but today there are already more than 36 000.
