The ambbadador of Ukraine in Belarus, Igor Kizim, believes that after the introduction of martial law in parts of Ukraine, Russian citizens will be more closely monitored at the border. But he does not badociate the incident of Kiev Airport with the introduction of martial law.
– If a person arrives can not say clearly at the border why she came, the border department naturally has a question: is it sincere in his desires or not? I understand that Russian citizens at the airport can not motivate their arrival. Russians feel in the post-Soviet
country as if they were masters, not invited. For Ukrainians, they are foreign citizens. We have different pbadports, there is a border, so each country defines its own mode of entry and exit. Try to go to London (Igor Kizim worked in London for two years .- Note TUT.BY) and do not answer questions from the border department, – commented the ambbadador Igor Kizim.
Recall that on November 26 and 27, about fifty Russian citizens traveling to Kiev via Minsk were repatriated to the Belarusian capital, the Ukrainian border guards not having forgotten them.
After the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, said the ambbadador, the issues regarding the interviews with tourists will not change, but Russian citizens will be examined more carefully.
"It is clearly stated that Russia is an aggressor country. Therefore, the attitude towards its citizens is more thorough," added the ambbadador of Ukraine.
He noted that after the introduction of martial law, each ministry in Ukraine had been ordered to develop a plan of action. For 30 days in the country, control over the railway and sensitive objects increases, and control will also be strengthened near the borders.
