Belgian doctors accused of false euthanasia

Police opened an investigation into three psychiatrists who approved a request for euthanasia from a 38-year-old patient. A woman named Tina Nys was suffering from Asperger's syndrome, a particular form of autism. She was asleep in 2010.

His family went to the police in 2017, accusing doctors of poisoning. According to them, the procedure took place with many violations.

One of the accused doctors then said that these people should be arrested. "It's a terribly hurt family, with very little empathy and respect for others," he said.

In Belgium, euthanasia is allowed for patients suffering from mental illness, who confirm that their suffering is "unbearable and incurable". Since 2002, more than 10,000 people have been legally rocked in the country.
