Comparing the photos of the Genesis G90 update with the current model, one would think that it is a new generation of the flagship sedan of a Korean luxury brand. Nevertheless, we are facing a complete overhaul of the current G90, which debuted three years ago.
The improved G90 was introduced today at a special event in Seoul. Among the most significant visible differences, the restyled sedan of the previous version – an imposing pentagon grille, new matrix headlights with strips of traffic lights approaching the wings, and horizontal strips of taillights across the width of the car instead of the old vertical optics and 19-inch wheels of the new design.
In the G90 cabin, the metamorphosis is much smaller, with the exception that the design of the central vents has been modified and new trim options have emerged.
In addition, there is an active noise cancellation complex and the functionality of the multimedia system with a 12.3-inch screen has become wider (for example, it can now understand voice commands).
As before, the G90 is available with three gasoline engines: 3.3 liters, 3.8 liters and 5 liters with a performance of 315 to 425 horsepower. In a pair of them rests at 8 "automatic" speeds, the drive can be both full and rear.
In Korea, the cost of recalculating the updated G90 starts at $ 63,000 and early next year the sedan will be exported. Apparently, over time, the badembly of the new car will be mastered at Kaliningrad Avtotor, where more recently the three Genesis sedans have been produced.
