FINANCE.TUT.BY examined the extent to which Belarusian companies are willing to pay for New Year corporate parties and the places where they plan to organize them.

Orders for corporate events begin to arrive in August, says Creative Studio Studio Creative Director Alesya Olgina. "Unfortunately, in our city, there are not many big halls, so there is always a big fight for them. The most active companies start booking sites in the summer, "says the girl.
– Companies with 100 to 150 people are probably up at the end of October-beginning of November. December is already late. At the moment, you can call small businesses from 30 to 50 people or companies that organize parties in January.
With a colleague accepts Jolly Fine, leading specialist Tatyana Skorokhodova. She explains that a month before the celebrations, it is still possible to "jump in the last car", but in this case, the company will receive the program "not the first echelon".

– We were surprised that this year, people started to prepare in advance. However, there are main positions from which the event is created. This is a platform, leader, cover group. If you approach this problem in advance, you have the opportunity to take the best and not take advantage of leftovers. The cost does not change much – it does not matter if you order the program in August or November.
The organizers did not notice that the number of orders had recently decreased. "There are many applications, new start-ups in the IT sector have appeared, where between 30 and 40 people work. But, probably, if before the client was more generous in terms of budgets for the program, he is now more modest. This may be due to the strong competition between agencies and artists, "says Olgina.
– There are examples when you prepare a project and prepare it almost completely. Before entering into a contract, the client asks to send a commercial offer consisting of a concept, a detailed quote, options for sites and a schedule. Practically, you have organized a company party, you just have to start it. And the client says – you know, and we decided to refuse. It is clear that they will simply use our information.
According to the girl, the average check for the celebration of "somewhat diminished". For a business event to take place, you need about two thousand dollars – "so that there is sound, light, and a group of covers". However, if you wish, you can even meet a thousand: "take the lead, DJ, photographer, and complete the event with a quiz like the Mozgovoyni".

Event agency representatives agree that food costs about $ 40 to $ 50 per person. In restaurants and cafes of the same level, this figure hardly changes. "Before creating a banquet menu, the institutions called their competitors and equalized their costs," says Olgina.
– Of course, you can find a simpler option, where it costs 50 rubles per person, without alcohol. But this rarely happens. Generally, companies that choose this type of institution do not order the agency and engage independently in the organization – explains the specialist.
Alcohol in quantity is not included – with drinks, the price rises to around $ 20. There are more rugged places like the Hilton, the menu will cost between 70 and 80 dollars, complete Tatiana Skorokhodova.
The room depends on the tastes and interests of the company. It's often a restaurant, a mansion or a banquet hall of the hotel. Some companies prefer not to book restaurants, but multifunctional spaces.
– We have a main segment – computer companies. They like to order neglected establishments – platforms such as OK16 or Building 8, – explains Kirill Lazarchik.

According to the organizer, its customers are recently much more willing to use the services of catering companies because they are "more loyal and more flexible in their approach."
– As a general rule, the average check is still $ 50 without alcohol. At the same time, these agencies do not adhere to a specific range and it is easier to create thematic events with them. For example, you can select the "Cuban theme" format and prepare a special menu.
Some companies prefer a buffet table not to "contemplate" but to participate in the event, Kirill Lazarchik said. In general, the demand for active business celebrations is growing.
– This year, the most unusual company is a so-called "all-out night" condition. For example, people tend to write plans for the year. We organize an event in which we propose to strike out certain points, for example "playing the dandy", "shaving bluntly" or "taking a body part".
As for the cost of the program, here the agencies call completely different numbers. "We can offer a $ 1,500 program for five hours. For this money, we realize a small business quiz, we invite an experienced presenter, we will organize a photo area. But it is without a group of occasions, with a DJ, "says Tatyana Skorokhodova. At the same time, the specialist shares the fact that, in one of the most expensive orders, only the invitation of the group costs 20,000 euros.
– We will be invited to one of the corporate events of Chizh & Co. In December, from 20,000 euros, only the net fees. I know that computer specialists have brought Dorn. It is clear that there are not many companies of the same kind, generally everything is ignored by the Belarusian artists.
The Belarusian artist will cost between $ 1,000 and $ 1,500 for 20 to 30 minutes of performance. If you invite a cover group, you can invest between $ 700 and $ 800 – they will play two sets of 45 minutes each or 3 sets of 30 minutes each, adds Ales Holguin. More famous musicians like J-Mors or Leprechauns play 60 minutes and ask for "about 5,000 dollars".
– The biggest order is about 25,000 rubles, but there will be a fairly popular Belarusian band. Half of the amount goes to the expenses. The videos will be included, they will participate in the concept, a dance-ballet show, a presenter, an additional cover group, technical equipment – light, sound, photo zone, photographers, a videographer, photo booths. Of course, this cost includes taxes and agency commission.

Not all companies are ready to talk about business events. They keep the plan of the event secret and do not divulge the name of the invited artists. Some have already organized parties for the workers. So, the company "C-Video" (the ATLANT-Techno chain of stores) combined the New Year celebration with the company's 25th anniversary and organized the Comedy Battle. And the best employees sent to have fun in Lviv.
– Shop orders from all the cities clashed to perform funny songs and, between breaks, they listened to comedians and famous musicians. We can not give an exact figure of expenses, but it is comparable to the cost of a new car. The exact place is kept secret, as this must be a surprise for colleagues. We take into account the interests and character of each employee. Therefore, we think that even the best event agency will not be able to organize a holiday as well.
