A resident of Lipnyaki village reported missing birds in the afternoon of 25 November. The day before, the woman left for Bobruisk and, when she returned a day later, 12 geese missed their farm – half the flock. A little later, she saw two geese walking in the vicinity, seven dead dead birds. The rest of the hostess has never found.

The local policeman found the surviving birds – they were on a frozen pond 30 meters from the house. He drew the geese, took them to the hostess and started looking who had killed the others. At first, the suspicion fell on her neighbor's dog – she was carrying one of the dead birds in her teeth.

However, the domestic dog was not involved in the crime – the stray geese were strangled by geese, the district police found.

If the neighbor's dog had caused the damage, he would have to answer in front of his master for breaking the rules relating to the keeping of pets. And pay a fine.
