The third generation of the Nissan Murano crossover was introduced in spring 2014, but our country arrived with a big delay – only in the summer of 2016, when the badembly of the St. Petersburg factory has been mastered. Meanwhile, in America, this car has undergone the planned modernization procedure.
The "refreshed" car was shown to the public at the brand new Los Angeles auto show. The design of the pbadive filter has changed slightly: a new bumper with triangular air intakes has appeared, the grille with a characteristic V-shaped element has become more expressive, other fog lights, more and more chrome elements were transformed, as well as the front and rear optics. Three new exterior colors have appeared and the 18-inch and 20-inch wheels of the new design complete the look.
The interior of Murano remained almost intact. We are talking about new finishes and color combinations (for example, contrasting stitching on the seats, center console and armrests) and leather seats with semi-aniline finish on the top version of the "SUV".
The "base" of the Murano now has 9 airbags, including side "curtains" for second-row bikers and a kneepad for the front pbadenger. The most expensive versions are equipped with the Safety Shield 360 safety package by default, which includes traffic lane monitoring, "blind" zone monitoring, driver fatigue monitoring and emergency braking with pedestrian recognition function.
Murano has no modification on the part of the equipment. In the US market, the crossover is still offered with a 3.5-liter V6 producing 260 horsepower, combined with a variator, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Updated local dealers from Murano will appear in December.
