What happened should have happened – at Porsche, they finally matured to compete with BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe. The recipe for its preparation is simple to ugliness – we recline the rear pillars, lower the roof, add "touches to the portrait" and that's it, the Cayenne Coupe is ready!
However, thanks to the coupe profile, the new Porsche looks more dynamic and spectacular than the original Cayenne. In addition, the compartmental version is slightly wider than the standard crossover (4931 mm vs. 4918 mm), its height was reduced by 2 cm, and for second row riders there was enough space above the head, the seats are placed 3 cm lower than the usual Cayenne. Among the other distinctive features of the Cayenne Coupe – a modified form of the rear doors and the area moved from the trunk door to the bumper under the license plate.
The volume of the trunk of the coupe is significantly reduced compared to that of the base Cayenne. With the rear seats up, the capacity is about 625 liters (145 liters less), with the seats folded down – 1,540 liters ("less" 170 liters). In the Cayenne Turbo Coupe version, the "restraint" is even more modest because of the "in base" subwoofer – 600 and 1510 liters, respectively.
Standard equipment The Cayenne Coupe includes a PASM adaptive suspension, a Sport Chrono package and a 2.16m glbad panoramic roof.2which, if you wish, can be replaced by a lightweight carbon fiber plastic – it is part of the optional sport package, which also includes fabric padding for the center parts of the checkerboard seats, a carbon backdrop and 22-inch wheels instead of standard 20-inch wheels.
At the time of its debut on the market, the Cayenne Coupe will be available with two engines to choose from. It is a "six" three-liter turbo developing 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, as well as a twin-turbo V8 of 4 liters of 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of the Cayenne Turbo coupe. The best-performing version of the "hundred" first pbad on the pbadport in 3.9 seconds (nearly 2 seconds faster than the base Cayenne Coupe), the maximum speed is 286 km / h against 243 km / h in the version six-cylinder. Transmission machines – "automatic" 8-speed and four-wheel drive.
The Cayenne Coupe is launched in the same factory in Leipzig, where the regular Cayenne is manufactured. The novelty is already available on order in our country – prices start at 80 600 euros. The modification of the turbo will cost at least 151,300 euros.
