If you have suddenly forgotten, we remind you that on June 23, in the upper town, will be held a great festival of British culture. In part, we have already talked about what awaits you for these holidays. And today, we will complete this story with a full program of the event: English lessons for all, tennis and Xbox, reconstruction of battles and Irish bagpipes, but also indie rock Liverpool and fashion show under the decor of the DJ. That's what the organizers have prepared for the public.
The festival will start around noon. At 12:30, a procession of pipers begins near the British Embbady and will pbad on the main stage of the upper town. The official inauguration of the festival will take place at 13:00: the pipers of the Second Royal Irish Regiment will play in this place, then the concert will begin. Now we will walk from the main stage in the upper town. In the festival business area, there will be an exhibition of excavators and shows, and visitors will also see retro cars. There will also be a photo area in the "Alice in Wonderland" style.
The educational zone will be open from noon to late at night. Here you can attend an interactive English course for elementary level – upper intermediate level, listen to jazz and humorous poems, play a board game with a UK English teacher, take an IELTS quick test and attend conferences. And so from noon to eight in the evening.
In the literary area of the festival, there will be book stands in English for children and adults, the presentation of the book "Guide to Belarus" and the author's impressions Nigel Roberts on his journey, as well as readings of poetry.
In the theatrical area of the festival, you will see the puppet show "Punch and Judy", the show "Theorem of Love" and the battles. In the cinema area, you can watch a Soviet film about Sherlock Holmes, as well as "Pride and Prejudice" and "Paddington".
In the festival's fashion zone, a presentation of the designers of the Fashion Scout Project, Liann Callon and Aureli Fountain, as well as a meeting with Martin Roberts, Creative Director of Fashion Scout and Graduate Fashion Week. In addition, he will make haircuts to the British and will hold a master clbad on making hats.
A tennis tournament will take place in the sports area. We will learn rugby, curling and kicker. In the field of historical heritage, one can see a pageant: the Scottish infantry, demonstration battles, music and dance. And also will show the Johns painting exhibition and more Johns.
In addition, the organizers promise traditional English food and drinks, lots of music and entertainment for the whole family. The festival will take place on June 23 and will end around midnight. The entrance will be free.
