Putin: Russia defends the rejection of trade wars and ruleless fights in world trade

That's what Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the summit of the Conference on Measures of Interaction and Building Confidence in Asia (CICA).

"Real commercial wars are breaking out in the world. Unfortunately, battles without rules continue with intimidation and elimination of competitors by non-market methods. And now more than ever, our collective efforts are needed to find a way out of this situation, "said Putin.

According to him, "we must restore confidence, approve the standards of fair economic interaction", to begin, "at least withdraw sub trade and sanction restrictions social and humanitarian sphere ", namely essential goods, medicines and medical equipment.

He noted that it was a topic discussed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which took place June 6-8.
