In practice, a group of scientists from the University of Mississippi tested the long-standing hypothesis that heavy music harms living organisms. For the study, they chose ladybugs that eat aphids on the plants. They included different compositions and observed changes in behavior.
It turned out that the music of AC / DC, Guns N 'Roses and Lynyrd Skynyrd negatively affected the control group of insects: they ate half aphids less than without audio. In addition, even the soybean plants themselves were on average 25% smaller than those growing in silence.
At the same time, the compositions of the American country musician Will Nelson did not have a negative effect on ladybugs and plants. The reason for these results is not known reliably. Scientists believe that everything is in the abundance of bbad. Presumably, the vibrations prevent the bugs of God from detecting the aphids: the insects do not have ears, they perceive the sounds by the vibrations of the waves.
