Ekaterina Dubanevich may become the first Belarusian girl to travel around the world from a length of 100 thousand kilometers. And to do this, she leaves alone and on a motorcycle. We met a brave motorcyclist to find out how his preparations for the trip are going and why she needs all that.

– This was not a sudden idea: "I will go to the world tour." It all started with small trips, The first year, Henry and I (called my motorcycle) arrived at the end of the world (the promontory of Shikotan Island) .Why is the bike more close to the world and closer to the world? The car ride is like watching TV. The world in the windshield is like on the screen. The car has more comfort, but you do not feel everything around it. The smell of pine needles, raindrops, hot wind and morning mist – you are part of this world and these adventures. With a motorcycle, you are also a unique body, you control the body. And as soon as you start somewhere to go out a little further from the house, the thought immediately arises: what's next? New cities, countries, places where almost nobody has been, people with a different culture, but with the same joys and the same penalties. It's one of the greatest values ​​- when you meet another culture.

During the first four years, Katya drove on small motorcycles, 200-250 cubic inches. Started with "Minsk". The enduro tourist came gradually, when I realized that the most interesting is outside the asphalt. Catherine calls herself a "forced endurist".

– This is a serious test for our husband and I relationships, and for parents. They are very worried about me and worry about it. Tried to deter some time, then resigned. Last year, it was generally interesting. I drove 12 thousand kilometers to Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands. When he was going, my father tried to persuade my husband to break the bike and I flew to warm the country, like all normal people.

The preparations for the trip began a year ago. Meanwhile, a mountain of papers has been published. It is necessary to start vaccinating for a year, because many inoculations are done in stages, with interruptions. In African countries, a yellow book with fever vaccines will be required everywhere. With him, Katya will take tests for malaria and drugs.

Catherine's husband – a talented mechanic, so he completely took over the technical part of the preparation. almost installed a new engine, reinforced the parts that could only break in theory, in general, all done to make the trip possible with a minimum of problems and wait for the wife of the house.
