The most accurate was Andrei Orekhov and Vadim Sazonov. Maxim Sotnikov and Oleg Puodzhukas took second place, and helicopter pilots Yury Yablokov and Konstantin Podoynitsyn closed the troika. </p> <p> Among the Belarusians in parallel flight, Alexander Grischenko and Oleg Manko scored the best, finishing in sixth position. Above them, there were also Polish athletes. The head of the federation Alexander Tsenter and his partner Vladimir Strihenok, speaking at the Robinson R-44, took the tenth place. </p> <p> 37 crews from different countries participate in the world championship. The largest was the Russian team, represented by 13 crews. In Minsk, helicopter pilots from Poland, Austria, Germany, China and Ukraine also flew. All crews perform exercises on two helicopter models – Robinson R-44 and Mi-2. Most teams compete in their vehicles, some use the Minsk fleet. </p> <p> Helicopter races will be held on weekends in Minsk, which can be seen at the Aviation Festival # Pronnebo. The winner will be determined in "Shootout" format: after qualification, the eight best teams will reach the final, where they will compete in pairs. Thirty aircraft will be represented at the festival: balloons, helicopters, gyrocopters and planes, including the P-2 night bomber. </p> <p> Reminder, Belarus asked the International Aviation Federation (FAI) to host the World Cup in spring 2016. The chairman of the international helicopter commission CIG FAI Jacques Berlo in person personally visited the competitions in Minsk and highly esteemed the level of their organization.
