The shooting of the military drama in Brest has been canceled: the film crew has been able to agree with the Brest branch of the Belarusian railways, reports Vecherny Brest.
Shooting in our city was scheduled to begin in mid-December. Brest would be the "final station" before the band's return to Europe. To reconstruct the unloading scenes of Jewish prisoners, war wagons were needed. In the railway material museum of Brest, there is only one exhibition of the rolling stock of this generation. The museum's management went to meet Hollywood by throwing five different cars.
To embody the intention of the director, they must be gathered and left the complex. It was badumed that they would be "dragged" to the station – and that they would already start firing there. But the railroad did not allow it.
As reported by members of the film crew, there is a permit from the Ministry of Transport and a letter from the Ministry of Culture of the country. However, the hold was beaten in Brest.
Attempts to solve the problem by repeated meetings with the leaders of the Belarussian railways branch of Brest have come to nothing and filming in Brest is therefore canceled.
Filming of the film entitled "Leçons de perse" began on October 26 in Brest and Mikashevichi. It's a war drama based on real events. Time for action – World War II. The filming process is led by 55-year-old American actor, screenwriter, director and producer Vadim Perelman. His most famous film, The House of Sand and Fog (2003), won three Oscars. The second Hollywood film – "Moments of Life" with Uma Thurman – was released in 2007 and has received mixed reviews from film critics.
