Someone provides the New Year's atmosphere and decorates the Christmas tree on the first day of December, and someone waits almost before the clock. If for some reason you are among the last and you do not know what to do with the beauty of the forest, see how the designer has done this.
In collaboration with the designer of the Kalyadnaya Krama boutique, Karina Metelskaya, we dressed three completely different people (both in price and size). About fashionable toys and how to combine them properly – in our report.
"A good decor lasts a few years."
As the first "experimental", choose a model adorned with snow:
– Let's dwell on the theme of the forest – it is defined by the Christmas tree itself – says Karina. – By the way, the snow is applied on the branches in production, which makes it very durable.
According to the decorator, such a tree would have looked great in a cottage or office: it is quite simple, but at the same time elegant.
"Since the branches are covered with snow, it's worth wearing a garland on a white thread," says Karina. – The light can be both clbadic and white, trendy. The use of floristics is also important this season. And it is also very practical: take a branch and add volume to the tree. The space is filled instantly, you do not even need to hang a lot of balls.
The unspoken rule is to fill a fluffy beauty by two-thirds. The scheme of decorating a Christmas tree is as follows: we first intermingle the light, then the floristic – a garland of berries, branches, then toys. As a base to fill the space, you can choose monochrome balls (these are often sold in lots of 20 to 30 pieces), and you can add them with unusual decorations. And they must not be expensive, says Karina.
– No need to hurry: the decoration has been good for a few years. This year, for example, you can buy a high-quality Christmas tree on a sturdy metal case, a light garland. In addition, a basic game of balls and a pair of toys that will add spice to your Christmas tree. And everything else is buying gradually, adding each year to the collection.
By the way, Soviet toys can also become a "strong point" – unless, of course, you have them. And if not, such jewelry (even specially aged) can be bought. How to correctly combine rarities and new objects? Pretty simple: just stick to the same color scheme.
But let's go back to business.
"The very transparent glbad beads will fit perfectly into the theme," says the decorator. – It is best to place them where there is a lot of light – so that the ball becomes as visible as possible. Never use only balls, supplement them with cones, mushrooms, ice cubes … The combination of different shapes, textures and colors seems more advantageous.
Looking at the branches inside decorations, we notice that glbad toys are a short-lived thing. Especially if the apartment has pets or small children.
– In this case, you can consider the option of buying plastic balls – advises Karina. "Even if they fall, nothing will happen to them." And you can also fix the decorations with special wire in the form of hooks: after that, it will be almost impossible to remove the decor of the branches.
"If the tree is" for yourself ", it's better to choose the clbadics"
The second line is a mbadive pine with soft needles. We will decorate it in a clbadic style.
– This is the most popular option. And no wonder: this decor can be used for years. Trends come and go, and clbadics are always relevant.
As main colors, choose green, red and gold (Karina calls it the term "champagne"). According to the already elaborated scheme, we first weave a garland of light. The decorator notes that on such a large Christmas tree, it would be wise to combine several garlands of different shades at a time. We stopped at a mix of warm white and clbadic light. And proceeded to the next step.
– This season is extremely relevant a variety of ribbons, – says Karina. – The wider the spruce, the wider the ribbon, and vice versa. How to fix this decor? If the tree is natural, will have to acquire wire. With an artificial Christmas tree, it's easier: you can twist the ribbon by the branches themselves.
– Is it possible to use ribbons from a sewing shop?
– You can, but you have to watch the tape itself. It should be tight, keep the shape. It is desirable to place a wire base on the edges – the band will fall better.
Another trend of the outgoing year is the use of various volumetric figures. Karina sits carefully on Santa's branches. Interestingly, he will not fall from there?
– No, this pine will support everything, – the girl laughs. "All the more so we will stop there: one piece is enough, the essential is to" endure "it with other toys and balls.
To fill the space inside, we use big balls. Karina notes that such "projectiles" are also an excellent background for the rest of the jewelery. Then we add small balls, toys and floristics: in our case, it is poinsettia. Depending on the volume of spruce these twigs, you can use from 3 to 7 pieces.
"We also manufacture the top of the head in floristry: it looks very unusual and beautiful," says the decorator. – Since we have a velvet ribbon, we "support" it with branches with velvet leaves. And to support Santa, we will complete the crown with white branches. Specifically for this pine enough of 5-7 branches.
Fix this top is not necessary. But if the paws of the tree on top are not too tight, after decorating, carefully wrap the base of the crown with wire.
Karina thinks the clbadics are the perfect house version:
– If you put the Christmas tree "for yourself", do not continue fashion and just want to maintain the party atmosphere, it is better to use the clbadic theme.
Cheap and practical
Finally, we dress a modest tree half a meter. This is an inexpensive option with PVC needles, and we also decide to decorate it within budget.
– We use plastic toys: they are suitable for both an apartment and the street. A light string of 15 meters will suffice for such a low model, a few branches (but we will not use them to save), a basic set of 30 balls and 15 pieces of decorative toys.
Karina notes that this option is perfect for "badembling" the Christmas tree with children: there are no complicated and even more fragile elements.
In addition to the usual balls, add clusters of toys. You can buy them, and you can bademble from the decorations you have. It is only important that the decor is combined in color, but it is best to choose different shapes and textures. The decorator thinks that these bunches immediately attract attention and are very advantageous.
And if you miss the holiday mood, you can use special incense sticks (like those used in the auto show). Simply hang 2 or 3 pieces to the tree – and the Christmas smell is provided.
