Moscow, November 28. / TASS /. Writer Dmitry Glukhovsky, social network of VKontakte, announced an artist contest, whose three winners will illustrate an encyclopedia of the project "Universe of Metro 2033". This was reported Wednesday in Press service VKontakte.

"Participants must choose one of the proposed areas and create a suitable work: portrait of any character in" The Universe of Metro 2033 ", scene of the life of survivors, sketches of weapons, armor, clothing of protection or other instruments of the post-apocalyptic world " Press service.

Will be selected portraitist, which represents the main characters of all the books in the series, an artist who draws scenes from the life of characters and an artist who creates illustrations of devices and weapons. Each of the winners will make about 300 illustrations for the encyclopedia and will receive a cash prize in the amount of 500 000 rubles.

The results will be announced on December 24 in the community "VKontakte with the authors". The competition is part of the VK Talents program.

The inter-author project "Univers of Metro 2033" is based on the trilogy of Dmitry Glukhovsky and tells the story of the heroes who survived in these novels. The series includes more than 90 books and computer games. The complete encyclopedia of the project is expected to be published in 2019.
