The Russian Ministry of Defense has tightened the rules for the transfer of digital information. For secret documents, special USB keys have been developed: they carry a unique number, are badigned to a specific person and exclude data leaks, writes Izvestia. The writing of secret documents on other carriers will be prohibited by the military.
Storage devices will be of two types: red and blue. The former are intended for official use only (for all official information not closed). The second – for documents clbadified as secret.
Connect the media only to computers on which the appropriate software is installed. The computers, in turn, are also badigned to the responsible persons and any contact of a special flash drive with a computer is recorded.
