On December 15, the #SantaRunMinsk Festive Marathon will take place near the Tsnyansky Reservoir. Interested individuals can apply for one of four distances – one and a half, five, ten or fifteen kilometers.
A prerequisite for all marathon runners is to have a New Year costume with you (or at least a festive cap). In European countries, where this tradition is already part of the winter holiday program, not only Santa, but also Christmas elves and other fabulous creatures are fleeing.
Who can start at #SantaRunMinsk? Participants over the age of eight are at the shortest distance (younger children are allowed to participate, accompanied by their parents). At a distance of 5 km, riders over the age of 12 will compete, but 10 and 15 more will be over 16 years old. All minors must have the permission of their parents.
The start of the race will take place 100 meters from the entrance of the island (Tsnyansky reserve). The route will pbad through the island and around the reservoir.
To become a member of #SantaRunMinsk, you must pay a registration fee.
