The Japanese Fujifilm today unveiled an XF10 compact camera based on a 24-megapixel APS-C sensor and a 28mm F2.8 high-speed fixed lens.
The camera received the same 28mm F2.8 lens as the Fujifilm X70, but built on the APS-C sensor of the usual Bayer architecture, rather than the proprietary X-technology Trans. In fact, it is a simplified version of the X70, but with a higher resolution sensor.
The camera is equipped with a 3-inch touch screen, removes 4K video. The camera can communicate with the wireless smartphone via Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. Especially for shooting "directly on Instagram" the camera has a mode with proportions of 1: 1.
Fujifilm XF10 weighs only 280 grams and will go on sale in August for $ 500. The model is designed as a best companion for filming fans on Instagram: it is suitable for selfi, portraits, landscapes and shooting in low light.
