A group of engineering students from the Technical University of Munich set a new speed record for the transport system in the tunnel. They scattered the truck at 457 km / h.

The event was held as part of the competition between Hyperloop students. The task was to create a trolley for dispersion in a 1.2 kilometer pipe length. Whoever wins the maximum speed will win, and the platform must be made independently. As a result, the fastest was the Hyperloop WARR.

The same team has won twice in 2017 in similar competitions. Their platform weighs 70 kilograms, powered by an electric motor of a power of 50 kilowatts. Pneumatic brakes stop the cart in 5 seconds

A year ago, the team of Ilona Mask, who suggested the idea of Hyperloop, was able to speed up the truck at 355 km / h. Now, several independent companies are engaged in ultra-fast transport capable of moving in a vacuum tube.
