Belgrade lawyer Dragoslav Ognianovich was shot dead Saturday night on the threshold of his home in New Belgrade. According to the newspaper Blic, during the attempt also injured the son of a 26-year-old lawyer.

It is reported that the attack was committed at 19.30 local time in the street of the anti-fascist struggle. A 57-year-old lawyer was killed when he went to the door of his house with his son.

The police work on the crime scene. The entire block is cordoned off, checking for outgoing cars. Police patrols are in service everywhere.

Ognianovich worked in a legal team that defended former Yugoslav President Slobod Milosevic at the Hague Tribunal. In recent years, he has had a very successful career. Serbian media claim that he has defended many clients who have committed serious crimes, and in recent years have represented the criminal authority of Luk Boyovich.

The newspaper reports that several friends of Bojovich have been killed in Belgrade in recent months. According to the publication, this is due to the war of the criminal clans involved in drug trafficking. It is badumed that the lawyer could become a victim of gang warfare.
