In the afternoon of July 15, rescuers received a message about two girls drowning in a search near the village of Putniki, Molodechno District.
Two girls (12 and 14 years old) were bathing in a pond. At one point, eyewitnesses in the vicinity shouted for help and, running, saw the girls drowning. People saved one of the girls, she was taken to the hospital.
The second child was found 3 meters from the shore. The doctors tried to resuscitate the girl, but they could not do it.
