10 people were killed and 73 were injured following the derailment of several cars from a pbadenger train in northwestern Turkey.

The train followed from the city of Kapikule on the border with Bulgaria to Istanbul. According to preliminary data, bad weather caused the accident.

According to the NTV chain, because of heavy rains, the embankment on which the railway tracks are laid was unclear. the accident could become a collapsed bridge because of the weather.

There were about 360 people on the train. Six wagons are out of the tracks

Emergency rescue helicopters and a large number of ambulances are visible on the scene

At the same time, according to NTV, access to the site is very difficult due to lack of roads. The city of Corlu, where the wounded are delivered, urged citizens to donate blood to help the wounded.
