Viktor Shein also reported that 22.5% of drugs cost one to two dollars, 23.7% – two to five dollars. In general, at present, the price of 83% of Belarusian drugs is up to $ 5.

The deputy director of the department stressed that the cost of medicines in Belarus should be reduced. Now the country is buying about 1.2 thousand pharmaceutical substances. Systemic work is done so that each company includes several pharmaceutical products in the production record of preparations, which in the long run will be more likely to be purchased on a cheaper competitive basis. "Many substances in the price factor occupy up to 70% .In this way, we intend to reduce the price of Belarusian drugs," said Viktor Shein. He added that the process could take up to three years

We remind you that in Belarus, it is proposed to introduce a new mechanism to prevent unreasonably high prices for drugs. The pilot project states that Belarus will introduce a mechanism to record the maximum selling prices of drug producers used to treat oncology and cardiovascular diseases. In MART, it is suggested that it should exclude the possibility of selling certain groups of drugs at unreasonably high prices.
