Near the Cairo airport there was an explosion in fuel storage

Near the Cairo International Airport late at night on July 12 there was an explosion. This is reported by Reuters with reference to sources in special services and local residents.

Two fuel tanks located outside the airport exploded, Al-Arabiya citing the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation. Firefighters caught fire "under control".

There is no information yet on the victims and the dead.

The source of Reuters announced the suspension of all the flights, but the Egyptian government said, that the explosion did not affect the schedule.
