On suspicion of corruption, the chairman of the Soligorsk District Executive Committee was arrested

On Monday, 17 June, police suspected of committing a corruption offense arrested Soligorsk District Executive Committee Chairman Oleg Poskrobko. The investigation committee has opened a criminal case against the chairman of the Soligorsk district executive committee, reports the press service of the department.

Oleg Poskrobko is still on the website of the Soligorsk District Executive Committee as President. Position it occupies from August 10, 2017.

Recall that Oleg Poskrobko's predecessor, Alexander Rymashevsky, was also arrested while trying to win a bribe. This was reported in June 2017. Then, the investigation committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of the art. 430 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus ("Receive a bribe"). His sanction provides for a prison sentence of up to 15 years with confiscation of property.
