The chairman of the Russian Federation of Fuels (bringing together the owners of independent service stations), Evgeny Arkusha, informed RBC and confirmed it to the vice president of FAS, Anatoly Golomolzin.

Arkusha explained that the owners of independent service stations that, unlike the big oil companies, have neither fields nor refineries, want the right to raise fuel prices up to 4% over retail prices at major service stations.

According to the minutes of the previous meeting of the oil companies Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, an officer in charge of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the Federal Tax Service (FTS) to conduct unannounced inspections of independent service station networks, paying particular attention to organizations exceeding the indicative fuel price level of more than 4%.
