Two Russian Su-24 bombers flew three times over the Belgian command and staff vessel Godetia (Godetia), reports SVT News. This ship was part of a squadron of NATO ships conducting exercises in the Baltic Sea.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 21st, but was only recently revealed. Pictures of Russian planes were taken aboard another ship – the frigate "Louise-Marie" – located nearby. The frigate conducted air defense exercises.
The F-16 fighters who imitated the attack had to change task urgency and intercept the Russian plane. According to the chain, the Su-24 could have been armed with missiles.
