Experts at Vocus Group NZ have come to the conclusion that media piracy will gradually die on its own. And the reason lies, in their opinion, in the existence of Netflix and similar services that distribute popular content at "reasonable prices" and with "maximum comfort".
The authors of the study are convinced that piracy, from the point of view of ordinary citizens, is becoming a laborious process "that is not worth it". Comfort, according to them, has become the tool even sought after by the fighters against piracy. Behind, they are not "criminals", but people who are simply looking for a convenient way to get content. If such a means exists, piracy has no meaning.
Admittedly, it should be noted that the study was conducted in New Zealand. The level of piracy is considered quite high, the most visited resources in the country include sites dealing with relevant topics.
