"Where are you in a hurry?" I'm not going anywhere for the moment, "replied the president.

Putin said Russia felt "confident and autonomous" and was ready to cooperate with other countries, including the United States. He expressed the hope that Washington is aware of the need to solve the common problems.

The president also touched on the subject of national projects implemented in the country. "These are large-scale and very ambitious tasks. If we confidently follow the path of their solution, the country will change for the better, "said the president.

Putin's fourth term ends in 2024. Under the current Constitution, the same person can not hold more than two consecutive terms in office. In March, immediately after the presidential election, Putin declared that he was not considering amending the text of the Basic Law.

In early October, Valery Zorkin, president of the Constitutional Court, ruled in favor of "one-off changes" in the Constitution. He did not mention the article on the mandates of the president.
