Samsung has developed an unbreakable screen. It can support a fall from a height of 1.8 meters

Samsung Display has reported the development of a screen that can not be broken. The novelty has already pbaded the tests and received a certificate from the laboratory of the US Department of Labor Protection. Such a display was dropped from a height of 1.8 meters – the panel remained intact.

At the heart of the novelty is a flexible OLED matrix with an unbreakable substrate and additional elements for hardening. The panel can operate in a wide range of temperatures – from minus 32 to plus 71 degrees Celsius. The display has been successfully tested by military standards

It is noted that such a screen can be used in almost all devices: portable game consoles, smart phones, laptops and dashboards in cars

. Maybe the novelty will debut in the Samsung Galaxy S10.
