We simply want to perpetuate its name, "said Anisimov, adding that the name change ceremony would be held at the airport on November 30, the day of the closing of the vote at the Russian Grand Names Contest.
The airport owner said that he was preparing documents for Rosaviatsiya, so that the landing area officially bears the name of Letov. "The way this will be formalized is not yet clear.
