The Central Bank issued a commemorative coin weighing one kilogram

The Bank of Russia on Tuesday released a silver commemorative coin weighing one kilogram, the newspaper reports. Press office regulator.

The coin is dedicated to the final of the contest for the choice of symbols for notes in denominations of 200 and 2000 rubles.

On the back are symbols finalist cities – Petrozavodsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Sochi, Sevastopol, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Sergiyev Posad and the Far East.

The diameter of the piece is 100 mm, face value – 100 rubles. The commemorative coin was issued in 75 pieces.

New notes in denominations of 2000 and 200 rubles were issued in October 2017. The bill of 200 rubles shows the sights of Sevastopol, the 2000 rubles – the bridge to the Russian island of Vladivostok and the cosmodrome of Vostochny.
