In Minsk, a criminal case was opened against the director of one of the sports and recreation complexes on the grounds that he had fictitiously arranged for a part-time job. This was reported by the Main Department of Home Affairs of the Executive Committee of Minsk City.
A man arranged for 0.5 wager for the job of worker in the cleaning and maintenance complex of households. But he did not do this job, and received money for it.
A criminal case was instituted against the director pursuant to Part 3 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (misuse by official abuse of power on a large scale). The sanction of this article provides for a sentence of imprisonment of three to ten years with the confiscation of property and the deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or carry out certain activities.
