The High Tech Park has opened computer classes across the country

This week is the "Code Hour" event, in which High-Tech Park participates: more than twenty computer centers have already been launched in rural and urban schools.

According to HTP director Vsevolod Yanchevsky, the main task of the park is to help talented and competent pupils, many in villages and towns.

The HTP has already begun to achieve its goal: for example, a computer center in Dokshitsy has opened – children will learn to work on 3D printers. Similar projects are being implemented in Plis and Lelchitsy. In addition, Hour Code opened the Scratch Centers in Bortniki, Liozno and Lida. By the end of December, the park will open new clbades in another 10 schools across the country.

By the way, about Scratch: over a thousand teachers master the HTT online teaching programming language and now teach it in schools. The students scratching themselves are about ten thousand.

In the current year, about 50 new labs and computer courses have appeared in cities and small villages thanks to HTP.

A thousand and a half educational institutions have joined the "Hour Code" in Belarus, and more than one hundred million schoolchildren from 180 countries around the world participate worldwide.
