At national and international competitions, including world championships and continents, men and women will compete in 10 weight clbades . It is up to 55 kg, 61 kg, 67 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 89 kg, 96 kg, 102 kg, 109 kg and more than 109 kg for men . Women – up to 45 kg, 49 kg, 55 kg, 59 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 76 kg, 81 kg, 87 kg and over 87 kg

At the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and men and women will compete in the weightlifting awards in seven weight clbades. The Olympic categories were up to 61 kg, 67 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 96 kg, 109 kg and more than 109 kg – for men. Women in the Games program did not include performances in the weight category up to 45 kg and 81 kg

The decision of the executive committee must be ratified by the IWF Congress to be held on July 6 in Tashkent. On July 7, the junior world weightlifting championship will begin in the capital of Uzbekistan
