According to the law, if you open an account without this authorization, you can get a fine of 5 to 35 basic values ​​(from 122.5 to 857.5 rubles). The question of the abolition of this bureaucratic procedure has been discussed for a long time. Today, the regulator announced the lifting of the ban.

– in 2019, it is planned to lift the restrictions on the opening of accounts in foreign banks by natural persons and to establish a registration procedure allowing legal persons to carry out foreign exchange transactions related to capital movements, – BelTA conveys the words of the chairman of the board of the National Bank, Sergey Kalechitsa. – Planned the adoption of a new wording of the law on the regulation and the exchange control. Thus, it is planned to remove the administrative procedures when carrying out exchange transactions related to capital movements, when opening and using accounts of legal entities in outside Belarus, in order to establish the repatriation dates of foreign exchange earnings directly in business contracts.

Sergey Kalechits noted that in 2017-2018, deadlines for the completion of foreign trade operations were increased, as the objective of foreign currency purchase and mandatory sale of gains in foreign currency have been canceled.
