Olga lives in one of the nine buildings in the capital. Recently, at the entrance, the women carried out the repairs in progress: they coated the walls and painted. But after 2 months, the mastic started to get enough sleep and the paint became blistered, cracked and exfoliated. "And by the way, the tenants have paid for this shame," says a woman from Minsk. FINANCE.TUT.BY found out if tenants could return some of the money needed for poor quality repairs.
– About the fact that in our porch we finally did the maintenance, I learned that it had already started. That is, I have not signed any contract – says Olga. "Well, the bottom line is that the entrance is done," I thought. Everything was very scary, especially on the first floor. Indecent pictures and obscene words on the walls, cracks. Above all, the garbage chute was not closed on all floors, there was often a stench.
A resident of Minsk said the repairs were done fairly quickly, in about three weeks.
– Initially, it was clear that the quality of his lame. The strips on the vestibule doors were painted with holes, the inscriptions were poorly painted in some places, the list of women. – But after 2 months, it became obvious that they are not all defects. The paint in some places grew and cracked, the putty in the corners started to get enough sleep. And by the way, all the shame of the tenants paid off. Is it possible to return some of the money paid for materials and work, repairs being done wrongly.
In the city of Minsk housing, they said that money for repairs, no matter how it was made, would not be returned to residents. But it can redo.
– If the poor quality repair work is confirmed, then, as part of the warranty obligations, the work must be redone and eliminate any defects, – explains Timofey KremezDeputy Director General, Operations and Production, MHG Housing Fund. – In this case, I would advise to immediately address two organizations: to an authorized person – it is the housing services and communal services of the region – and to the contractor, the one who directly performed the repair. It is necessary to leave the call on the site in electronic form, or to write it on paper, or to talk to the front desk with the manager.
According to the Deputy Director General, the work is well or poorly executed, housing and public services will decide.
– A commission will be created at this location, it will come on site and will determine how the repair was performed, whether in the volume or with the materials specified in the quote. In case of inconsistency, a decision will be made to eliminate these defects.
