The Russian model, which carried souvenirs from Prague to Brest, was sentenced to three years imprisonment

At the end of June, we talked about the detention in Brest of the Russian model, which carried narcotics in personal effects. The girl bought souvenirs in Prague, which contained marijuana – it was found that no less than 1.14 grams. Today, the Moskovsky district court in Brest has delivered a verdict on this case.

– Defendant X. was convicted of a guilty verdict of illegal storage and transportation of illegal drugs for sale, that is, committing a crime under Part II 1, art. 328 of the Criminal Code. She was also found guilty of the illegal movement of narcotics across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union, that is, in committing a crime under Part 1 of art. 328-1 of the Criminal Code. On the basis of parts 2, 6 of art. 72 of the Criminal Code on all crimes, taking a less severe punishment of a more severe, finally charged, sentenced to 3 years imprisonment without confiscation of property to serve in a prison colony under conditions of a general scheme the Brest Regional Court.

The verdict did not come into force and may be appealed and challenged on appeal.
