"No matter the end of the legislative elections, we will neither be in opposition nor out of the way, we will help the new president in all areas. Because I do not want Ukraine to end five years with another disappointment and loss of opportunity. We have a great chance now. We will stand next to the new president and all our knowledge, all our achievements, transmit them and help them achieve it, "said Tymoshenko on the Ukrainian TV channel 112.

Regular elections to the Ukrainian parliament were scheduled for October. In May, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, signed a decree on the early termination of the Rada's powers and called for extraordinary elections by 21 July. The early elections to Parliament will be held according to a mixed system: half the body of deputies (225 people) will be elected on party lists, the other half in majority districts. Only parties can participate in elections, the threshold of success will be 5%.

According to a study of the Social Monitoring Center and the Ukrainian Institute of Social Research Oleksandr Yaremenko, the Batkivshchyna party is supported by 8.7% of respondents.
