In Kiev announced the blocking of hundreds of ships in the Kerch Strait. This was reported on November 29 by the Ukrainian Ministry of Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons (MinTOT) on Facebook.
The ministry showed a map of "stuck vessels" with reference to surveillance data. According to the ministry, from November 25 to 27, the number of ships in and around the Strait increased more than two-and-a-half times from 167 to 421.
"Because of the blockage of Russia's pbadage through the Kerch Strait, Ukrainian and foreign merchant vessels are obliged to remain in the waters of the Black Sea and the Azov Sea without further access to the ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol, "said the department.
The Ukrainian Ministry also pointed out that Moscow violated international law.
Commenting on Kyiv's claims that the Kerch-Yenikalsky cbad was blocked for civil courts, Russian President Dmitry Peskov said: "I do not know that there are currently restrictions. On the contrary, we know that the Kerch Strait works as usual, "writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
