On Sunday evening, about fifty yellow vests gathered around the shopping roundabout in Nivelles. Peacefully, they blocked the traffic for about twenty minutes. "We were about fifty yesterday at the shopping roundabout with a good atmosphere and laughter, with understanding motorists", says one of the organizers, on his Facebook page.
But these yellow vests were then joined by unwanted ambitions more bellicose. Coming from Feluy, they would have tried to poison things, especially by throwing firecrackers.
The leaders of the regroupement Nivellois yellow vests then wisely decided to close the camp. "After midnight, we did have some problems with some people, entrust the organizers. We decided to lift the device so as not to have any problems with the police because we were not there for that. The police saw who the troublemakers were, but we made a good decision by stopping the rally. We do not want there to be any trouble. "
Police authorities confirmed that a person had been arrested for disturbing public order and that the movement had been quiet until then.
