The prosecutor's office of the Belgian Football Union decided to sue Kortrijk because of racist behavior of some of its supporters against Standard at the 15th day of the championship on November 11th (0-2). The Flemish club must appear at 13:00 Friday in front of the Appeals Chamber of the Litigation Commission to handle this type of case in the first instance.

After the match, the Rouches scorer Mpoku and Luyandima were attacked by flanders supporters accused of racist gestures and cries.

One of the supporters apologized for the social networks accepted by Mpoku. The man in question had an interview with the club management following the incident. Kortrijk wants to counter this event by setting up an awareness campaign. The initiative has received an echo from the Pro League, but the project still needs a green light. The other incriminated supporters are still wanted.
