The chain of clothing stores Esprit wants to remove nearly 40% of its administrative staff and close the stores in loss, she said Tuesday.

Belgium has 23 establishments of the sign but it has not yet been specified where this reorganization would take place. The company, headquartered in Hong Kong and Germany, has two to three years to build a "solid foundation" for future growth.

The reorganization will first take place at the management level, from thirteen to six people. Job cuts in the administration are expected to be completed by mid-2019.
