RER: Why the Brussels government refuses to sign the agreement with the federal government

"hope to reach an agreement with François Bellot by December 15"says spokesman for Brussels minister-president Rudi Vervoort. But,
"will Minister Bellot hear the message that the inhabitants of Brussels also have the right to a railway network worthy of metropolitan mobility challenges?" As things stand, we can doubt it. Behind the scenes, it comes back to us that if François Bellot does not hear the Brussels demands, there will be no signature.

As a reminder, the Federal Minister of Mobility François Bellot (MR) fired the Brussels government this morning, the only region that has not yet signed the cooperation agreement already signed by the Walloon and Flemish Regions. François Bellot feared this morning that the refusal of Brussels would prevent the implementation of the RER plan. 200 million euros are allocated to the Brussels stations.
