This Sunday, December 2 will mark the opening of the 24th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP24). On this occasion, the SNCB plans to take action vis-à-vis its pbadengers. The railway company attaches great importance to the environment and sustainable mobility.
SNCB will thus offer a "Green Ticket" which will allow to travel by train this Sunday, December 2 on the entire network in Belgium for only 5 euros. This ticket can be purchased at counters, sales machines or on the website and it will be sold from Friday, November 30 until Sunday, December 2 included.
Like the Mobility Week, during which SNCB had proposed the day of the Day without cars a ticket with these same advantageous conditions, the SNCB intends to promote the train as a means of ecological transport. Every day, SNCB contributes to reducing CO2 emissions in the journeys of Belgians who choose to take the train as a means of transport.
