(Relaxnews) – The body care brand CeraVe has unveiled a range of products adapted for people with diabetes.
This brand, which was bought by L'Oréal in 2017, has unveiled the "Diabetics' Dry Skin Relief line, which aims to combat the skin problems often badociated with this disease.
This range includes a moisturizer, a hand, a foot and a washing gel designed specifically to fight against itching, dry skin and bruises, which can result from diabetes. This new line by CeraVe uses a combination of three essential ceramides, bilberry naturally rich in antioxidants and urea to soothe the skin and provide lasting hydration.
"We know that people with diabetes have specific skin problems and these products demonstrate our commitment to providing diabetic patients with therapeutic and affordable care," said Derrick Booker, vice president of marketing for CeraVe, in a statement.
Diabetes currently affects 425 million people worldwide, according to the International Diabetes Federation, and WHO predicts 622 million people with diabetes by 2040
Since its launch in 2005, CeraVe has established a reputation as a company offering dermatological solutions based on science to provide cleansing, moisturizing and sun protection.
