An investigation was opened Thursday, after the suspicious death of a lady in his home in Erembodegem.
The Dendermonde section of the prosecutor's office in East Flanders speaks of an "incident" and refuses to comment further. The body of the lady was discovered Thursday morning in the lobby of his home. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, a family dispute could have broken out during which, the elderly lady, had made a fall with fatal consequences.
The police and the prosecution did not give further details.
