Belgium won 66-79 against Iceland in their second pre-qualifying match for Euro 2021 basketball (men) Thursday in Reykjavik.
Foul at the beginning of the game (22-15 after 10 minutes), the Belgian Lions, who were able to count on four players to more than 10 points – Sam Van Rossom (17 pts), Jean Salumu (15 pts), Quentin Serron (11 Pts) and Khalid Boukichou (11 pts) – then took the lead to a 9-point lead (34-43) at half-time and laid the foundation for a second win.
The Belgians had already won their first match, 66-65 against Portugal, on 13 September in Pepinster for their debut in these pre-qualifiers.
