Jean-François, 19, was killed by several stab wounds last June after an altercation with a man named Ahmed S., quickly identified and arrested. The altercation took place at Leopold Square in Mons, near the bus stops and the railway yard. Jean-François's family wished to pay tribute to him by placing a commemorative plaque on the site. The City of Mons has accepted. The plaque will be installed place Leopold. A special ceremony will take place this Monday, December 3 at 16h. When the work of the new station is completed, a slab engraved in his memory will be installed permanently.

"The idea of ​​creating a plaque in memory of Jean-François came from his two twins. "She did not want us to forget. This kind of act must never happen again.
